Meet the PFA
The Parent-Faculty Association (PFA) is a vibrant partner in the education of children at Corbett Prep. Parents at Corbett Prep are a significant part of the child’s learning experience both in and out of the classroom. The PFA includes all parents of current students and all members of the school's faculty and staff. The organization meets monthly.
Numerous opportunities are available for parents to volunteer in whatever way suits their schedules best. We welcome your help throughout the year to plan and organize events, assist in classroom communications and community building, attend meetings and participate in activities. At the beginning of the school year, we send out a PFA Volunteer Survey to find out the areas that interest our parents and their special skills.
An executive committee of parents oversees the PFA, and they organize standing committees for each year to meet different needs.
PFA's Largest Fundraiser The Big Event
Corbett Prep's annual adult-only "party with a purpose" brings together hundreds of parents, sponsors and faculty members for a celebration each spring that raises money to enhance the student experience.
More than 415 guests gathered on April 25 at the Tampa Museum of Art for the most successful Big Event in Corbett Prep history: Paint the Night White!
Surrounded by the twinkling lights of downtown Tampa, this elegant all-white celebration featured elevated food stations by SaltBlock Hospitality and live music from the high-energy dance band #NOFILTER. Paint the Night White raised more than any previous Corbett Prep fundraiser through sponsorships, ticket sales and the live and silent auctions.

The most recent Big Events, Paint the Night White and the 2024 Big Event '80s Prom, have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for Corbett Prep. Gifts have supported campus beautification, expanded technological resources and improvements to the athletics and performing arts programs.
The Big Event 2026 will take place on April 10.
Peacock Classic
The Peacock Classic is one of two major PFA fundraisers for the year. The proceeds raised will allow us to reimagine technology for our prekindergarten, elementary and middle school students.
The 30th annual Peacock Classic took place on Sat., Sept. 13 at Westchase Golf Club. A huge thank you to all of our golfers and volunteers who made the day such a success. We also would like to recognize our tournament sponsors: The Diesselhorst family, Charles Schwab Citrus Park, Devonshire Custom Homes, Florida Blue, GreenMow Robotics, MDSi, Laurel & Jack, Smith Bros Packaging, and Hank's Catfish & BBQ!

PFA in the Classroom
Our Classroom Ambassadors help teachers communicate with families, coordinate classroom volunteers and organize events such as holidays celebrations and cookouts.
