Give to What You Love
Thank you for making our first Give to What You LOVE campaign a meaningful celebration of generosity and community! Because of your donations, all three projects will receive full funding!
At the beginning of this school year, teachers were invited to pitch their passion projects – ideas that enhance student learning, build community, and reflect what makes Corbett Prep so special. A panel thoughtfully reviewed the proposals and selected three projects to move forward based on impact, feasibility, and alignment with our school's mission. Families then could direct their gifts to the Corbett Prep project of their choice.
We have so much gratitude for everyone who participated in this special giving opportunity that puts choice at the heart of philanthropy!
The 2025-26 Projects
Wild About Animals
Submitted by Aimee Popalis and Paula Shelton
Bring learning to life by enhancing our live animal ambassador program on both sides of campus, adding new animals, improving habitats, and expanding hands-on learning with animal artifacts like skulls, skeletons, and replicas. It’s immersive, memorable learning that students will talk about long after the lesson ends!
Keep the Beat
Submitted by Coach Holyman
We'll empower every Corbett Prep eighth grader with official American Red Cross certification in Adult & Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED use. It’s about confidence, leadership, and real-world readiness, giving our students skills that truly save lives.
Book Buddies
Submitted by Kristen Ochoa and Lacey Green
Create meaningful connections across campus through Book Buddies, which will pair older students with younger reading buddies. Together they’ll read, talk about stories, and build a love of books, strengthening literacy, confidence, and leadership for more than 500 students across nine grade levels.
