Drama and Musical Theatre

Peter Pan soars to Neverland. Bert tap dances upside down for Mary Poppins. A giant dragon weaves through the audience on her way to save the day in Shrek.

Drama and musical theatre at Corbett Prep fosters creativity, spontaneity, and confidence among students. You'll see it in the Middle School as students wow audiences with elaborate choreography and show-stopping effects. You'll also see it as young as PreK3, when children play storybook characters and recite their memorized lines before parents.

Students in all grades participate in class performances that challenge them to push past their comfort zones as they gain valuable public speaking experience and develop an appreciation for theatre.

Broadway Artists Alliance

Corbett Prep has developed a relationship with the Broadway Artists Alliance, which holds auditions at sites across the country, including Corbett Prep. As a result, several students have been accepted to the organization's workshops for professional training in New York!
