Healthy Camp Protocols
What is CAMP IDS doing to protect campers and staff for Summer 2021?
We are excited to welcome families new to CAMP IDS and our returning campers for another amazing summer at Corbett Prep! After a successful school year, we now are looking forward to six weeks of summer camp in a safe and healthy environment.
Please read through our updated summer health protocols.
Expectations and Procedures
All campers and staff are asked to stay home if sick. If a camper exhibits COVID-19 symptoms while on campus, the camper will be taken to the nurses’ station. We will contact the parent, and the camper will be sent home immediately. If a camper presents with a fever, they will only be permitted to return to camp after being cleared by our school nurse.
At the start of camp each week, counselors will play a pre-recorded video for campers and staff that includes information about safety and emergency procedures. We have a full-time registered pediatric nurse (RN) on staff to assist with any health needs that may arise. You may email her with any health questions. For questions about camp policies and procedures, please contact the camp office at campids@corbettprep.com or (813) 961-3087, ext 121.
