The youth sports program is open to students of all ages throughout the region, regardless of where they go to school. CSS incorporates different opportunities such as skills trainings, inter-club scrimmages, competitive teams and open tournaments to expand its reach into the greater Tampa area.

Participants can choose from a variety of sport-specific instruction from professionally trained or certified coaches. Selections change depending on the session but may include track club, baseball clinics, volleyball skill development, street hockey, golf as well as our popular youth basketball program.

What's new?

CSS is thrilled to bring back volleyball classes! Skills sessions will be available soon and led by Corbett Prep's volleyball coach, Maggie Smith.

The Ultimate Warriors Basketball Academy has recently hired more coaches to support the growing program! UWBA now will offer a monthly open gym session for middle and high school students as well as add evening training sessions for younger players.

Street hockey is opening up to students in second and third grade at different times this school year.

We also are excited to welcome back Corbett Prep PE Coaches Rob Heller and Chip Hill to share their passion for golf. They will offer golf sessions on and off campus. More information is coming soon.

Community School for Sports FAQS

Who are the coaches for CSS?

CSS hires qualified coaches who have a specialty in a specific area such as teaching, coaching, amateur play, collegiate play or professional play. Community School for Sports coaches work to use best practices in coaching while creating a brain-friendly environment that will enhance a child's sports experience.

Do you have to be a Corbett Prep student to join CSS?

The Community School for Sports was modeled after Corbett Prep's Community School of the Arts and CAMP IDS. Any student, regardless of where they attend school, may sign up for these programs. We even offer some opportunities for adults!

Classes are offered after school, in the evening and on weekends.

What youth sports programs are offered?
