Fiddler on the Roof
A Corbett Prep Summer Production

Students entering grade 3 through high school are invited to audition for Corbett Prep’s summer 2022 production, Fiddler on the Roof. This musical classic offers more than 40 singing and speaking roles. We will fill multiple casts and feature each cast in two performances.

Music, dance, poignancy and laughter weaves together for an unforgettable show. As Tevye, a poor dairyman, tries to hold onto his religion, his Russian-Jewish traditions and his five daughters while eluding the difficult future that looms ever nearer, he learns that life is "as shaky as a fiddler on the roof."

Rehearsals begin as early as May 23 for some actors. A rehearsal schedule will detail the scenes and actors needed for the first week. All actors need to be prepared for full days of rehearsals from about 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 30-June 3 and during tech week June 6-10. Please note that due to the nature of the show, some actors may need to stay later than 4 p.m.
