camp brochureWe were thrilled to welcome more than 1,200 campers from across the Tampa Bay are to CAMP IDS 2019! Staffed by Corbett Prep’s dynamic counselors, our summer camp provides extraordinary experiences in Sports, Academics, Recreation, STEAM and Field Trips in an exciting, fun, and supportive environment.

Open to PreK3-high school campers from all over the Tampa Bay area, CAMP IDS offers more than 100 camps each summer on the beautiful lakeside campus of Corbett Prep.

Parents can choose from half- or full-day camps during seven weeks of sessions. We have free morning care, afternoon care for $12 a day and bus service from selected neighborhoods. How do I register my child?

Register for CAMP IDS online through CampSite, our camp software.

Returning to CampSite? If you have previously used the system to register for CAMP IDS or Corbett Prep's community and after-school programs, you can log into your account here.

Do you have half- or full-day camps?

Families may choose to attend a morning or afternoon camp or combine an AM and PM session for a full day of camp. Certain camps – such as Pre-Rec, musical theatre and off-campus recreational camps – are offered as full-day camps only. Please note the times in the descriptions of the camps when you register in CampSite.

What will campers do between their morning and afternoon camps?

The 30-minute break between morning and afternoon camps is a supervised lunch period.

Is lunch provided?

Campers may bring food or purchase breakfast, lunch and snacks from our Warrior's Oasis Cafe. Families will have two options for purchasing lunches.

  • Option 1 - Campers will bring cash to purchase lunch/snack as needed.
  • Option 2 - Campers can bring a prepaid debit card with a Visa, Mastercard or American Express logo to purchase lunch/snack as needed.

What is the dress code?

Each camper receives a free CAMP IDS T-shirt. Wearing it is optional but encouraged. Comfortable clothing, including sneakers/tennis shoes and socks, are a must for our campus. Please save flip flops and sandals for the weekend.

Every child will receive one complimentary camp T-shirt for the summer. Additional camp shirts are available for purchase. Wearing a camp T-shirt is encouraged but optional.

What grade level are campers placed in?

Specified grade levels are the grades that campers will be entering in the upcoming school year.

What are arrival and dismissal procedures?

Morning sessions begin at 8:30 a.m. Plan to arrive by 8:15 a.m., especially if your child is attending a camp that meets off site. Our buses leave Corbett Prep promptly! We offer free morning care starting at 7:15 a.m.! Afternoon sessions begin at noon. Campers coming for afternoon camps only should also be dropped off at the Gatlin Hall entrance for counselor assistants to escort them to the designated check-in areas.

Dismissal for afternoon camps is at 3 p.m. The pick-up spot is at the front drive of Gatlin Hall. Please follow the instructions from our counselors to ensure a safe, speedy and efficient dismissal.

All campers remaining after 3 p.m. will go to the Extended Day room on campus. Extended Day is open until 6 p.m., and the cost is $60 per week.

Half-day camps: 8:30-11:30 a.m.; 12-3 p.m.
Lunch is a supervised 30-minute break.

Full-day camps: 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

FREE morning care: 7:15-8:15 a.m.

Afternoon care ($60/week): 3-6 p.m.
