Corbett Prep Student Stars on Broadway

Middle School student Jacob Pham had a seventh-grade year in a classroom unlike any other – the Broadway stage.

At age 12, he landed the role of a lifetime as "Young Simba" in the Lion King. He headed to New York after sixth grade concluded and performed for a year on Broadway. Head of School Jennifer Jagdmann and Thespian Director Seth Travaglino flew to New York to see him in his 200th show.

Shortly afterward, Jacob returned to Tampa to spend his eighth-grade year back with his friends at Corbett Prep. He joined Thespian Troupe 88622, appearing in Godspell, Aladdin and Descendants and competing in district and state Thespian events.
