Hispanic Heritage Month Inspires Educational Walk

The boardwalks around Corbett Prep's elementary campus take visitors on a global journey thanks to a Spanish class project for Hispanic Heritage Month.

Students created an educational campaign to spread awareness of Hispanic culture and Latin American countries. Students discussed what information to include, conducted research and decorated informational signs and banners to hang along the boardwalk. They are working on flags to add as well. Now students and Corbett Prep guests can learn interesting facts and broaden their world view just walking through the beautiful campus!

National Hispanic American Heritage Month runs from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 annually and honors the cultures and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans.
