Middle School students hit the ground running this year in the technology lab!
Our 6th Graders are embracing and embedding the engineering design cycle into their locker space organizers. To do this, they are using a 3D CAD software called TinkerCad. The next step is to rapid prototype their designs on our 3D printers to help with the final construction.
Our 7th Grade has been learning to protect themselves from dangers they may encounter as digital consumers, as well as learning how to navigate difficult situations they may face now or in the future. The focus is also for our students to be role models of digital etiquette that demonstrate dignity and respect for themselves and others, on and off-line.
Our 8th Graders are learning how to become documentary filmmakers as they prepare to enter the annual national C-SPAN Student Cam Contest and write, film, edit, and produce a film based on the prompt: "What Does It Mean To Be An American?"
