Middle School students are preparing for amazing off-site learning experiences during New Horizons Week.
For more than 30 years, New Horizons Week has created opportunities that embrace highly engaging activities that produce lifelong memories. The excitement is increasing as the days get closer. All students will be responsible for a project that combines creativity, critical thinking, inquiry and a deep understanding of the purpose of their experiences.
Sixth grade is off to the Circle F Dude Ranch for lessons in respecting and caring for the environment, participating in team-building activities, and actively engaging in outdoor education endeavors. Seventh grade is off to Wolfcreek, a Junior Outward Bound program. Eighth grade is heading for Washington and Philadelphia with the Close-up Program to experience "History Alive."
We look forward to a productive, fun and meaningful trip for students and teachers.
