Community School of the Arts Performs at Blake High School
Les Misérables June 6-9

May 21, 2013 (TAMPA, FL) - Les Misérables School Edition comes to Blake High School June 6-9 when musical theatre students in the Community School of the Arts (CSA) at Corbett Preparatory School of IDS perform six productions of the legendary Broadway hit.  Evening performances will take place on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, June 6-9 at 7:00 p.m. Matinees will take place on Saturday and Sunday, June 8-9 at 2:00 p.m. All performances will be held at Blake High School.  The CSA production will feature a 24-piece live orchestra and an incredibly talented cast of over 70 high school, middle school, and elementary school actors from 22 schools around the Tampa Bay area.  Current Corbett Prep students who will perform are Laurel Floen (Ensemble), Emma Friedman (Cosette), Noa Friedman (Cosette), Connor Goering (Gavroche), and Tallulah Nouss (Cosette).  Corbett Prep alumni performers include Cassidy Brown (Madame Thenardier), David Friedman (Javert), Olivia Hamilton (Ensemble), Emily Lewis (Fantine), Alex Rivera (Ensemble), Cole Shaler (Constable), Daniela Silva (Ensemble), Gabby Shaikh (Eponine), and Jonah Watson (Enjolras).  Tickets are available in the Corbett Prep office for $10 and can also be purchased from parents of the Corbett Prep students who are in the show.  All shows take place at Blake High School for the Performing Arts, 1701 N. Blvd., Tampa, FL 33607. Tickets purchased at the window on the day of the show will be $15.
