Camp IDS: Where Everyone Has a Great Time!
Performing, broadcasting, cooking, canoeing, and painting are just a few of the choices campers have when coming to exciting Camp IDS. Highly-trained eacher-counselors lead teams to provide safe, fun, positive camp experiences that have kids returning year after year!
April 17, 2013 (Tampa, FL) ‒ At Corbett Prep’s Camp IDS, campers can try archery or broadcasting in the morning and dabble in painting or French cooking in the afternoon. From musical theatre to matball, Camp IDS offers something for everyone from PreK3-12th grade.
Divided into seven weekly sessions from June 17- August 2, Camp IDS offers full-day and half-day camps to appeal to a variety of interests ‒ academics, communications and technology, performing arts, visual arts, recreation, sports, and travel.
Immerse your child in a new language ‒ French, Spanish, and Chinese in fun activity and culture-based sessions that may involve cooking, dancing, and singing. Other academic camps are offered in math, reading, science, and writing.
Choose from a wide variety of communications and technology camps that include broadcasting, Claymation, aerodynamics, Legos engineering, newspaper, and robotics.
For the future Broadway star, Camp IDS offers camps in band, dance, drama, movie production, filmography, musical theatre, and more!
Visual Arts camps also offer exciting opportunities to be creative! From painting to earth-friendly sculpting to doll making, Camp IDS has a camp for every artist! Recreation and sports camps abound at Camp IDS! Many campers participate in the traditional soccer, volleyball, cheerleading, flag football, golf, and archery camps and have a ball. For the campers looking for new and exciting options, Camp IDS offers model rocketry, off-campus adventures, outdoor canoeing and fishing, and wilderness excursions as well as martial arts, matball, silly sports, and Warrior games.
Thrill seekers can join Adrenaline Camp– one week in July of a roller coaster connoisseur’s dream trip in as many parks in the Eastern United States as campers can experience. Parents are welcome to sign up!
Want to be SCUBA certified? First campers will earn NAUI certification, complete their check-out dives, and then they will travel to the Keys for some of the best diving in the world. Again, parents welcome!
